Ica Peru

The city of Ica is the capital of the Ica Region in southern Peru. The Huacachina Lagoon, the only oasis in South America, is located in the city, surrounded by huge sand dunes where you can go sandboarding. There are several vineyards and wineries that produce pisco, the national drink, as well as wine. You can also visit the Museo de Piedras Grabadas (Engraved Stones Museum).
