08:00 Departure along the Pan-American Highway southbound. Enjoy magnificent views of several mountains and snow-capped volcanoes along the route. Stops at three viewpoints to admire Los Ilinizas, Cotopaxi, and Tungurahua (from Ambato). Visit a rose plantation to observe its cultivation, harvest, and export packing processes. Continue to Guano, a small artisan town known for its crafts, monoliths, and mummies. Upon arrival in Riobamba, enjoy a panoramic city tour, including Neptuno Park and the Quito Hill viewpoint. 08:00 Departure towards the Chimborazo National Reserve to admire unique landscapes of Ecuador’s highest snow-capped mountain (6,310 m). Spot native Andean camelids such as alpacas and vicuñas in their natural environment. Continue to the Ingapirca Archaeological Ruins, visit the site museum, and enjoy lunch. Arrival in Cuenca, a UNESCO World Heritage city. Accommodation.

Day 4. CUENCA – GUALACEO (6h)

08:30 Morning city tour of Cuenca, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its rich architecture and the four rivers that cross it. Visit the Cathedral Domes (included), El Turi viewpoint, Calderón Park, Ethnographic Museum, and the Ortega Panama Hat Factory. 15:00 Afternoon excursion to the nearby towns of Gualaceo, with its beautiful Orchid Garden (included), and Chordeleg, famous for its jewelry workshops. Return to Cuenca. Accommodation.

Day 5. CUENCA – GUAYAQUIL (4h)

08:00 Ground transfer to Guayaquil, passing through the El Cajas National Park lake region and the Three Crosses Viewpoint (if accessible). En route, observe cocoa, rice, and banana plantations. Upon arrival in Guayaquil, cross the Guayas River via its impressive bridges and visit Cerro Paraíso Viewpoint for a 360° panoramic view of the city. 15:00 Afternoon visit to the Iguana Park and a walking tour along the Malecón 2000, admiring landmarks such as La Rotonda Monument, Las Peñas Street, and La Perla Ferris Wheel (included). Return to hotel. Accommodation.

Day 6. GUAYAQUIL – GALÁPAGOS

Hotel – airport transfer. Upon arrival at Seymour Airport (Baltra Island), passengers will be met and transferred by shared bus “Lobito” to the Itabaca Channel, where they will take a ferry to Santa Cruz Island. From there, shared transportation will transfer guests to their hotel. In the afternoon, one of the following visits will be made (subject to availability):

  • Highlands Visit: Transfer to a ranch to observe Giant Tortoises in their natural habitat. Explore lava tunnels and the Twin Craters.
  • Charles Darwin Research Station: Learn about the island’s flora and fauna conservation programs. Free time in the evening to stroll along the waterfront, visiting shops, jewelry stores, bars, and the illuminated eco-pier.
Day 7. BAY TOUR + LAS GRIETAS / TORTUGA BAY

Spend a half day exploring Santa Cruz Island. Sail to La Lobería, where you can swim with playful sea lions. Continue to Punta Estrada to observe blue-footed boobies and pelicans. Visit Playa de los Perros, home to numerous marine iguanas living among volcanic landscapes. After lunch, visit Tortuga Bay Beach, a stunning white-sand beach known as a nesting site for black turtles. The estimated walking time is 50 minutes.

Day 8. GALÁPAGOS – QUITO

Hotel – airport transfer. Flight to Quito. Accommodation. Evening departure (18:30) for a night tour of Quito: drive through the “Zona Rosa,” then visit the illuminated Historic Center, with stops at La Basílica, Plaza Grande, La Compañía, and San Francisco Square. End at La Ronda Street, where you’ll taste Empanadas de Viento with hot chocolate and Canelazos in traditional music bars. Return to hotels or optional stop for those who wish to continue the night. For groups over 20 passengers, a “Chiva” party bus is included.
