Day 2. GUAYAQUIL (3h)
09:00 am – Begin your walking tour visiting the Iguana Park and the Malecón 2000, where you’ll see the Moorish Tower, the Monument to Simón Bolívar and San Martín, the Guayas River, the La Perla Ferris Wheel, and Las Peñas, the city’s oldest and narrowest street. Continue with a panoramic drive through Urdesa and the modern commercial and financial district, featuring impressive buildings and shopping centers. Ascend to Cerro Paraíso Viewpoint for a 360° view of the city, and return via the Malecón del Salado, home to lush mangroves and a variety of birds. Afterwards, enjoy a culinary experience visiting some of Guayaquil’s most iconic restaurants to savor the city’s delicious traditional dishes. Optional ($45): Visit to the Historical Park and the Cacao Museum (available Wednesday to Sunday).
