Day 1. QUITO – AVENUE OF THE VOLCANOES – RIOBAMBA (6h)
08:00 Departure along the Pan-American Highway heading south, enjoying views of several majestic mountains and snow-capped peaks along the route. Stop at three scenic viewpoints to admire Los Ilinizas, Cotopaxi, and Tungurahua (from the city of Ambato). Visit a Rose Farm to observe the processes of cultivation, harvest, and export packaging. Continue to Guano, a small artisan town known for its crafts, monoliths, and mummies. Upon arrival in Riobamba, enjoy a panoramic city tour including Neptuno Park and the Quito Hill Viewpoint. Day 2. RIOBAMBA – CHIMBORAZO – INGAPIRCA – CUENCA (8h)
08:00 Departure towards the Chimborazo National Reserve, where you’ll have the opportunity to admire the stunning landscapes surrounding Ecuador’s highest snow-capped mountain (6,310 m). Along the way, observe Andean camelids such as alpacas and vicuñas in their natural habitat. Continue to the Ingapirca Archaeological Ruins, where you’ll visit the site museum and have time for lunch. Afterwards, proceed to Cuenca, a city declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Accommodation.
Day 3. CUENCA – GUALACEO (6h)
08:30 Morning visit of Cuenca, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, renowned for its architectural beauty and the four rivers that cross the city. The tour includes visits to the Cathedral Domes (entrance included), El Turi Viewpoint, Calderón Park, the Ethnographic Museum, and the famous Ortega Panama Hat Factory. 15:00 Afternoon excursion to the nearby towns of Gualaceo, where you’ll visit the Orchid Garden (entrance included), and Chordeleg, known for its exquisite silver and gold jewelry. Day 4. CUENCA – GUAYAQUIL (4h)
08:00 Drive to the city of Guayaquil (approximately 4 hours), passing through the El Cajas lake district and enjoying the scenic view from the Three Crosses Lookout (if accessible). Along the way, observe plantations of cacao, rice, and bananas. Upon arrival in Guayaquil, cross the Guayas River over its impressive bridges and head to Cerro Paraíso Lookout for a 360° panoramic view of the city, then transfer to the hotel. 15:00 Visit the Iguana Park and take a pleasant walk along the Malecón 2000, admiring landmarks such as La Rotonda, Las Peñas neighborhood, and La Perla Ferris Wheel (entrance included).
